Unchanging, Before The Throne of God Above, Psalm 19:1-3, Majesty, Holy Holy Holy, Rev. 4:8, Revelation Song
We’re in the middle of a sermon series on Revelation and we’re looking at what Revelation has to say about heaven and the God of heaven – did you know that our God is unchanging? He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, he is faithful and trustworthy as the morning sun…which he created…He is the Great I Am – the only one who goes beyond past or present or future tense – Truly He was, He is, and he is to come. Let’s worship our eternal, everlasting God!
Father we are praise you and honor you as the one true God who stands outside of time. You sit on your throne in glory. And yet as your word says in Hebrews 4:16 you invite us to approach the throne of grace with confidence – you invite us into your presence so that we may receive mercy and grace in our time of need. And for that we praise you Father! Only You are worthy Lord. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice which bought us pardon from death.
Before The Throne of God Above
Psalm 19:1–3 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard.
Majesty
Holy, Holy, Holy
Rev. 4:8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.”
