Sing and Shout, Psalm 145:3-7, Praise To The Lord The Almighty, Give Me Jesus, Hosanna, Run To You
Sing and Shout
We’re going to continue in worship, and as I’m sure you know, there are many different ways to worship. Often times in church we use the word worship to refer to the musical portion of the service, but worship is more than that. Worship is whatever we do to “count God worthy”, whatever we do to “express God’s worth.”
One of my favorite ways to worship besides with music, is by simply reading scripture and agreeing with what’s written there. Using the words that were inspired by the Holy Spirit thousands of years ago to express God’s great worth.
So will you worship with me now as we read from Psalm 145: verses 3-7.
Psalm 145:3-7
[3] Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.
[4] One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.
[5] They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
[6] They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds.
[7] They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
Praise To The Lord The Almighty
Give Me Jesus
Father. Hear our praise. Hear the longing of our hearts. Lord, we fix our eyes on you … and find strength. We thank you, God, for inviting us into your presence – to approach the throne of grace with confidence, and to sit at your feet. Reveal yourself to us, Lord, that we might know your grace, and respond with adoration and love. Come Lord Jesus!
Hosanna
